New Smyrna Beach residents and visitors may get eye full of colorful lights in the sky July 4. The City is hosting a July 4th Celebration in Riverside Park that will culminate with a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. The New Smyrna Beach July 4th Celebration runs from 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. The day begins with a free family fishing tournament until 1 p.m. near the Brannon Center. Check in is at 8:30 a.m. The tourney includes a hot dog cookout and awards. Additional July 4 activities in Riverside Park include: 3-9 p.m. Food trucks 3-5 p.m. Free concert by the MaxQ Band 6-9:15 p.m. Free concert by Cactus Jack and the Cadillacs. 9:15 p.m. Fireworks over the river Riverside Park is at 105 S.
